In a 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball Hobby box, you’re mainly chasing the guaranteed hit (1 autograph or relic), Hobby-exclusive Victory parallels and Player Number Variations, the full Rainbow parallel ladder, short-print/base variations, and key inserts (especially SSPs and Hobby-only ones).
Box Configuration
• 20 packs per box, 12 cards per pack (240 cards total)
• 1 autograph or relic per box (on average)
• Release: November 5, 2026 (Hobby and Jumbo)
Primary Chases
Hits
• Autographs: Flagship Real One Autographs, Rookie Photo Shoot Autographs, New Applicants, Level Up Signatures, 1981-82 Topps Autographs, and others (on-card for many). Top targets include 2026 rookies like AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer, Caleb Wilson, and Keaton Wagler, plus stars/legends (LeBron, Giannis, Jokic, Wembanyama, etc.).
• Relics: Flagship Real One Relics, Own the Game, Roundball Remnants, and rookie versions featuring players like Curry, Doncic, Wembanyama, and Edwards.
Hobby Exclusives
• Victory parallels (base and inserts)
• Player Number Variations (short-printed base variations)
Base Set & Variations (300 cards)
• Full Rainbow parallel ladder: Aqua Rainbow (unnumbered), Yellow Rainbow (/399), Purple (/250), Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold Rainbow (/50), Orange (/25), Black Rainbow (/10), Red Rainbow (/5), Wood (/25), Black (/75), Gold (/2026), First Card (1/1), and FoilFractor (1/1).
• Short-print variations: Golden Mirror Image, Clear (acetate, often /10), Team Color Border, Wood, and Player Number (Hobby-only).
Key Inserts (Hobby shares many with Jumbo)
• SSPs/case hits: All Kings (new Gold 1/1 versions), Quest for the Crown (Hobby/Jumbo exclusive), Bounce (new, basketball-textured design), Comic Court, Hardwood Stars.
• Other popular ones: Drivers, Poster Factory, The Daily Dribble, Levitation, From the Vault, New School, 1981-82 Topps Basketball (retro design with autos available).
The biggest hobby-specific differentiators versus retail or Jumbo are the Victory parallels, Player Number Variations, and the complete Hobby insert lineup (including Quest for the Crown). Rookie cards of the 2026 class (led by AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer, etc.) and low-numbered Rainbow parallels (especially FoilFractor 1/1s) are the strongest long-term targets.
